A Word to “Christian” Writers

My summary thoughts on Christian writers…

Bottom line for Christian writers in general–if they love their own words and ideas more than they love Christ or His Bride, they should not be writing. It’d be more God-honoring to burn their work than publish and promote it.

A few paraphrases to support the idea…

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, write about these things. – Paraphrase of Philippians 4:8

Write all things to the glory of God. – Paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 10:31

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your pens or keyboards, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” Paraphrase of Ephesians 4:29
